Packages
10 hour packages: $475
Monthly Retainers (4 month minimum, paid in advance or monthly with agreement)
4 hours/month: $200 monthly
8 hours/month: $400 monthly
12 hours/month: $600 monthly
Why purchase a monthly retainer?
1. I'm there for you and will give your work priority with no rush charges (if possible).
2. I will work up to 25% more than your hours purchased at no extra charge.
(4 hours: up to 1 extra hour; 8 hours: up to 2 extra hours; 12 hours: up to 3 extra hours). The "down" side? If you don't use all your hours, you lose them each month. We start clean every first day of the month.)
3. Retainers are great if you want me to organize and make your social media posts throughout the month.
How writing and photography might translate to hours:
Writing
Writing will really depend on the length of items needed and how much research I might need to do. But keep in mind that an article or blog post with first draft, research, client approval and final edit could take 1-3 hours.
Photography
Food photography: each dish (or setting) may take 1-2 hours to set up and shoot (not including cooking or prep), and another 1-2 hours to edit and get ready for publication. If cooking is involved, same hourly rate + cost of ingredients.
Exterior building or house: Minimum charge 2 hours depending on how many angles or final photos are wanted. Includes editing. Extra charge for travel over 30 minutes.
Casual portraits: Minimum 2 hours, includes up to 1 hour session and 1 hour editing.
